Carbon Beach - Why is IT so special?

Carbon Beach, with nicknames like the "Gold Coast" & "Billionaire's Beach" truly a world landmark lending itself to some of the most recognizable last names and boasting some of the greatest architecture.

As one of the most centrally located beaches in Los Angeles, its wide, sandy beach is what makes it so valuable. Malibu beaches are valued by their use. The further out the tide, the more dry sand, the more expensive. Homes built on stilts above the median high tide line are less valuable. Carbon Beach is a clean, safe, and sandy beach.

Pinned between the Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean the homes are exposed to some of the most extreme elements. That doesn't mean you get a discount to own or build here. The cheapest home on this beach runs about $10 million, and that is for a fixer. With last names like Morton, Ellison, Geffen, Katzenburg, Aniston, & Cox (her home is for sale at 33.5 million and was designed by John Lautner )

Yeah, they have new signs posted about no dogs and there was a guy (politely) letting people know. I guess its never been legal to have your dogs on LA beaches but they werent really enforcing it there until people started telling their friends to bring their dogs. Apparently there were some problems there recently. Someones little dog got killed by someones bigger dog and a kid was bit. The dog thing was getting out of control and you have these pro dogwalkers with 7 dogs on a leash there at 6 am and the dog walkers arent even cleaning up after them. As usual the bozos spoil it for everybody. Without the dogs everywhere it was actually pretty nice this weekend.

Don't bring your dog to the beach access at 22126. sick of you people with no respect for other people that live here letting your dogs crap all over the place without cleaning it up.
